Katani – Syokimau, February 12, 2026 — PremaGrow Seedlings Nursery is gearing up to empower local farmers with essential hands-on knowledge through a dedicated training program starting this Saturday, February 14, 2026.
The February 2026 Edition offers a comprehensive Practical Training on Basic Skills of Crop Management designed specifically for smallholder and emerging farmers looking to improve their vegetable production techniques, boost yields, and build sustainable farming practices.
This structured program runs over 5 consecutive Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM each session, giving participants ample time for in-depth learning without disrupting their weekly routines.
Key Program Details:
- Start Date: Saturday, February 14, 2026 (and continuing for the next four Saturdays)
- Duration: 5 Saturdays total
- Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Venue: PremaGrow Nursery, Katani – Syokimau (along Muungano Road)
- Focus: Practical, field-based training covering foundational crop management skills — from seedling handling and transplanting to soil preparation, watering, pest monitoring, nutrient management, and more.
Held right at the PremaGrow facility, the sessions combine theory with real-time demonstrations in the nursery’s thriving vegetable plots. Farmers will get direct exposure to high-quality seedling production and best practices that PremaGrow has refined since its founding in 2020.
As a trusted supplier of vigorous vegetable seedlings (including tomatoes, cabbages, spinach, and more), PremaGrow uses these trainings to bridge the gap between quality inputs and on-farm success. Participants can also explore and order ready-to-plant seedlings during or after the sessions.
This initiative reflects PremaGrow’s ongoing commitment to farmer education and capacity building — turning knowledge into higher productivity, better incomes, and stronger food security across Kenya.
